MyPanim was a social network for people from all walks of Jewish life who want to be enriched through communicating with and meeting others.
It was conceived as a discussion forum for Jews of all backgrounds regardless of age, sex,religious observance or political view.
On MyPanim, groups and individuals could interact, communicate, discuss and learn about others in their own and world community.
The website was eventually decommissioned after almost 3 years due to a falling interest by its members. Contributing factors such as Facebook and the view that a website based purely on the ethnicity of its members as a reason for joining was not sustainable in the long term.
From late 2009 an Mypanim did have a news and blog site that aggregated news items of interest for Panim members as a discussion point in parallel to the Social network.
This blog which ran in parallel with the social site until late 2009 is all that remains.
It remains as a last testament so to speak ,to the many months of late nights and early mornings that were spent setting up and maintaining Mypanim social network.
